Our services will help you prepare to enter the workforce; résumé review, assistance with professional attire, career assessments, and referrals to WorkSource Spokane Career Coaches to name a few.



Work Readiness

We provide wrap-around services to help you prepare for employment while ensuring that you have stable housing and access to basic needs.

When you have concluded your work with our employment specialists, you will have the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to embark on a job search independently.

Résumé Review

An employment specialist can sit with you and help build or update with an existing résumé.

  • Layout and design
  • Grammar and spelling
  • Work experience
Verification of Work Documents

An employment specialist can help you make sure you are completely ready for the employment process by assisting you to locate or obtain necessary work documents.

Career  Assessments

Job searching can be overwhelming - our employment specialists can help you narrow down the options by helping you assess your skills and interests. They will then use this information to help you discover which careers will be the best fit for you.

Referral to Employment Program and/or Training Provider

As a part of the WorkSource Spokane campus, we provide direct referrals to our partners at WorkSource Spokane to help you gain access to immediate job openings or industry-focused training opportunities.

WorkSource Spokane has a vast array of resources to help you find employment, including workshops for résumé writing, basic computer skills, and strategic job searching.

Economic Security for All

The Economic Security for All (EcSA) program is designed to assist individuals and families that are currently employed but want to earn higher wages.  The Resource Center of Spokane County received a grant from the State of Washington in the amount of $1.7 million to provide immediate assistance if you meet these two eligibility criteria:

  • Food benefits from DSHS in any amount
  • Reside in ZIP code's 99201, 99202, and 99207
